So, the Telluride is a great ride, but it is becoming clear that it has a flaw. AC condensers and radiators are being punctured by rocks and debris that easily pass through the wide open lower grills. Repairs are being reported to be $1400+, and while insurance may cover it, you are still out your deductible and a bunch of time to get the car fixed, not to mention the frustration of dealing with the situation. The solution is simple, a pair of screens that keep the rocks out of there in the first place.

And we are now ready with the same thing for your Kia Telluride. These install over the outside of your grill and are held in place with plastic ties. No modifications to the car are necessary at all! Complete installation instructions and the plastic ties are included with every TellurideScreen.
The standard TellurideScreen set is made from a strong metal mesh to keep larger stones and debris from getting to the radiator and doing the damage. This has a diamond shaped pattern. There are three pieces in the set, the long piece is for the top slot, the two short pieces are for the lower slots, on either side of center. They do not interfere with the driving lights on the SX trim level Telluride. There is also a new lower set of screens for Tellurides without the lower fog light. Because the grill is solid at the ends, these may require a piece of automotive trim tape to secure the tips, or 2 small holes to be drilled to install a plastic tie on each end. You may want to stick with the original shorter screen length, if you are concerned about this.

NEW!! The 2023/24 Telluride has a new front end design. The shape of the openings are different, but the problem of rocks and debris getting through them is still the same. And NO, Kia didn't do anything inside there to protect the AC condenser any more than the old design. As soon as we could get our hands on one, we measured it and came up with a set of screens for the new grill design. These are so new that we haven't even had time for a good photography session yet! Pictures of each piece are below, we will get better ones of the whole set on a car ASAP. Almost everything about the earlier sets for the 2020-22 TellurideScreen sets applies to this new set. And we have held the line on prices. These are available in our black welded or woven stainless steel mesh patterns, as well as our black powder-coated expanded metal mesh. And due to the shape of the lower grill, there are only short lower pieces. Your choice, the 3 piece set in black stainless steel consists of the ,middle slot screen and 2 lower pieces are $110. The grill of the 23/24 Telluride allows for a very easy internal installation. The holes in the grill make it very easy to slip the pieces in and install them behind the grill for a really clean look. This is a little more work than installing them on the front of the grill, but much easier than the original grill. The pictures below show how to approach an internal installation.

Now there is a 4th piece for this set if you are interested. The new piece is for the large upper grill (Where the Kia logo is.) When I looked at Tellurides with 20K+ miles on them, it was clear that the radiators are taking a beating through the upper grill as well. This piece is quite large so it is $70. I can ship it with the others. It is made of the welded or woven SS mesh and trimmed in the same way as the others. This is an internal installation, so it won’t really be seen much at all. You'll need to remove the access panels at the top of the grill just inside the hood or the bumper cover itself to install it. Once in there, it is attached in the same way as the other pieces. If you do the latter, you can also install the 3 lower pieces on the inside of the grill very easily. These are available for all Tellurides, 2020-23.
